Calling all seminarians and young adults: United Thank Offering is offering ten grants of up to $2500 each to those starting new ministries conforming to UTO’s 2018 theme “The Jesus Movement: Evangelism, Reconciliation, and Creation Care.” The deadline is Nov. 3; learn more about the grants here:…. What a blessing to learn more about this venerable ministry of our church (during a meeting today at the Cathedral Center of St. Paul) from Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles UTO coordinator Diane Flood Askren and Episcopal Church Women president Canon Martha Karen Leal-Estes (about to take over as a member of the national ECW board and vice president for Province VIII). UTO also makes grants to dioceses and affiliated ministries, such as Shima’ of Navajoland/Dinetah. Look for Diane to come to your deanery or church in 2018 to tell you more about UTO’s good work.  (Originally published on Facebook by Bishop John H. Taylor)
